The window blind has a handle strip (10) guided at one end on a guide rail (16,18) through a first locking element (22) which when the blind is closed runs onto a second locking element (32) so that it locks the handle strip on the second locking element. The handle strip can be released when moved in its longitudinal direction. The second locking element has a stop (40) for the first locking element.
