The support mounting (1) for a sliding panel suspended from a wall or ceiling (2), e.g. a sliding glass door (3), has a U-shaped box profile (4) at the wall/ceiling which is shaped to give two parallel and facing running rails. Trolleys with running rollers (11) linked by axes ride on the rails, and have an intermediate piece (21) to carry the panel between the two running rollers, and the roller axes support the intermediate pieces. A holding groove (25) is worked into the U-shaped intermediate pieces, with a drilling (26,27) in each intermediate piece leg, aligned with each other for the groove to open into the drilling.
