PANORAMIC MIRROR AND IMAGING SYSTEM USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A panoramic mirror and an image system using the same are provided to simultaneously monitor a wide area by constantly maintaining the increment ratio of tangent of a reflection angle and capturing the rear of a camera. CONSTITUTION: A panoramic mirror(604) is connected to a ring shaped planar mirror through a connection member and includes mirror surfaces which are symmetrical to a rotation axis of the panoramic mirror. A panoramic image system includes a mirror and a camera. The camera is formed on the rotation symmetrical axis to capture light(606) inputted to a nodal point(610) of a camera lens on the rotation symmetrical axis through the mirror.
