The front stone slab bears an inscription and its rear side may have markings as a guide for gluing the slab to the frame. The frame is square or rectangular with horizontal and vertical bars connected together at the corners mutually at right-angles to each other. The frame bars may be made of stone, metal or any other suitable material. Side- rear- and roof slabs are also glued to the frame and fit together at their edges.
