Dewatering press for wet paper, tissue paper or carton has an inner void with an angled turning rod redirecting web

A paper making process feeds a wet web to a dewatering press in contact with a dewatering belt running through a parallel boxed array of rollers. The dewatering box press incorporates an inner void (2) with a supplementary web loop zone from which the web emerges sideways via an angled turning rod (12). The rod is placed at about 45 degrees to the primary array of rollers. The turning rod is also presented at an angle of about 45 degrees to the horizontal plane. In a further embodiment a second turning rod is located outside the void at the side of the press through which the web path resumes a route parallel with the original feed direction.
