CANNULA FOR THE SUBCUTANEOUS DEPOSITION OF AN OBJECT

A cannula (10) for depositing an object in the body of a living organism com prises a cannula holder (14) with a first handle (16) and a sleeve (18) with a second handle (20). The sleeve surrounds the cannul a holder (14) at least in regions, can be displaced axia lly with respect to it and has a mandrin (24) which extends into the cannula. Th e object can be deposited in the body by means of relati ve movement between the mandrin and the cannula (10) containing the object. To enable the cannula to be inserted and the object deposit ed using one hand only it is proposed that the sleeve be locked with the cannul a holder (14) by at least one spreader element extending from the cannula holder or by a catch or lifting element (54) extending from the cannula holder or from the sleeve when pressure is exert ed on the second handle (22) extending from the sleeve (18).
