The invention relates to a non-flak coated colouring pigment consisted of organic or inorganic, amorphous or partially crystalline material provided at least with one coating. Each layer contains at least cured melamine-formaldehyde resin or consists thereof. The inventive pigment is successfully used for producing cosmetic products and confers a pleasurable sensation to the user thereof.
