A piezoelectric atomizer ( 10 ) has a horizontal support ( 14 ) with an opening ( 16 ). Mounting posts are formed to extend up from the horizontal support alongside the opening ( 16 ). A wire support 26 extends from an atomizing assembly ( 24 ) to the mounting posts and the ends of the wire support are wound around two of the mounting posts.
