<p>Revitalizing hair product comprises at least 60 wt.% water, 0.1-10 wt.% of an alkyl trimethylammonium salt (I), 0.02-5 wt.% of a dialkanoyloxyethyl dimethylammonium salt (II), 0.5-10 wt.% of a fatty alcohol, fatty acid or alkoxylated fatty alcohol and 0.05-1% alkali metal halide. The (I):(II) weight ratio is 2-15:1. Revitalizing hair product comprises at least 60 wt.% water, 0.1-10 wt.% of an alkyl trimethylammonium salt (I) in which the alkyl group is saturated and has 16-22 carbon atoms, 0.02-5 wt.% of a dialkanoyloxyethyl dimethylammonium salt (II) in which the alkyl groups are (un)saturated and have 16-22 carbon atoms, 0.5-10 wt.% of a fatty alcohol, fatty acid or alkoxylated fatty alcohol with 12-22 carbon atoms and 0.05-1% alkali metal halide. The (I):(II) weight ratio is 2-15:1. Independent claims are also included for: (1) preparing an opacified revitalizing hair product using a composition as above; (2) hair treatment comprising applying a composition as above to the hair, rinsing the hair with water and drying the hair.</p> |
