A coupling section is fitted between a slowly-rotating drive and a pump. This accepts axial and radial forces. The cross section of the coupling section and pump is no greater than 100 mm. The coupling section comprises a bearing assembly (8) with radial bearing (14), axial bearings (12) and a compensator (16). The bearing unit has a seal (22, 24) on each side. The drive power is no greater than 25 kW.
