FIELD: foundry, namely preparation of raw sand-clay mixtures for making iron castings. ^ SUBSTANCE: molding material contains milled coal as base of material, wood-resin pitch with softening temperature 80 - 130°C, 10 - 30 mass %, technical carbon, 1 -12 mass %; activated bentonite, 4 -20 mass %, sodium tri-polyphosphate, 0.2 - 2.0 mass %. Molding material provides enhanced specific strength, limit strength at compression and breakage in zone of moisture condensation. ^ EFFECT: enhanced knocking out capability of material, prevention of burnings and pin holes of castings at minimum roughness of its surface. ^ 1 tbl |
