The system has a movable support (3) to receive a limb to be operated. Extension units (4) are fixed at an end of the limb, to apply traction force on a proximal part of the limb. A dynamometer (5) measures the force, and is connected to a control device (6). The device (6) modifies the force until attaining a set point relative to desired limb extension value. An independent claim is also included for an operating table comprising a traction system. |
