FIELD: electric engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: method includes forming a beam of accelerated electrons, after that, undulating electromagnetic emission is additionally formed, which in conjunction with a beam of electrons is let into gaseous active environment, with trajectories of the latter divided in space, and generation of radiation is performed in gaseous active environment. Device has electron accelerator device, undulator and drainage tank with gaseous active environment, at output of undulator means for splitting electron flow and undulator electromagnetic emission is mounted, means for tracking for electron beam, having electron duct, membrane for inlet of electron beam into tank, separating vacuum hollow of electron duct from inner space of tank, and magnetic system for rotating beam of electrons, and means for tracking undulating electromagnetic emission, having a port for output of undulating electromagnetic emission from electron duct and rotary mirrors for inlet of undulating electromagnetic emission into tank through its inlet port, all these devices being positioned on undulator axis. ^ EFFECT: higher efficiency of transformation of electrons energy to electromagnetic emission energy of optical spectrum. ^ 2 cl, 2 dwg |
