FIELD: configuration of bark stripping shaft for bark stripping mechanism that is designed for stripping or preliminary treatment of tree trunks for separate final peeling and for removal at least of a certain amount of removed bark from the flow of wood. ^ SUBSTANCE: the bark stripping mechanism has a great number of bark stripping shafts located in parallel with the direction of movement of the tree trunks passed through it, and having a great number of teeth projecting beyond the surface of the shaft circumference and made for removal of the bark of the treated trees transversely to the longitudinal direction of the tree trunks with their simultaneous transfer transversely with respect to the shafts. The shafts, together with the teeth installed on them, are made in such a manner that they make up at least part of the bearing surface on which the treated tree trunks move through the bark stripping mechanism. The teeth effectively operate in both directions of rotation of the rotating bark stripping shaft, and the bark stripping shafts are made for their turning over. ^ EFFECT: simplified and reduced cost of worn out or damaged teeth. ^ 4 cl, 3 dwg |
