PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-house optical fiber cable which does not require an IDF, does not make a MDF large-sized, moreover, does not require optical fiber connection operations on every floors and facilitates the branching operation. SOLUTION: In the in-house optical fiber cable, respective major axis (a) sides of a plurality of pieces of optical elements 1 having approximately strip-like cross-section are brought into abutting with an outer peripheral part of a cylindrical tension member 2 constituting a center layer, the optical elements are arranged so that both end parts of the respective major axes (a) of the optical elements 1 which are abutting and are adjacent with each other almost come into contact with each other, thereon, a pressurizing winding 8 is applied and the first layer is thus constituted. Further, from the second layer, the respective major axis (a) sides of a plurality of pieces of the optical elements 1 are brought into abutting with an outer peripheral part of the just under layer, the optical elements are arranged so that both end parts of the respective major axes (a) of the optical elements which are abutting and are adjacent with each other almost come into contact with each other, thereafter, the pressurizing winding 8 is applied thereon and respective layers from the second layer are constituted.
