PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a universal coupling boot whose weight does not deviate in the peripheral direction and whose peripheral sectional shape does not get flat even during high speed rotating motion. SOLUTION: The universal coupling boot 12 formed of a rubber elastic body has a bellows portion 28 between a small diameter ring portion 18 and a large diameter ring portion 20. A divided portion 22 is formed linearly along a bus line ranging from the small diameter ring portion 18 to the large diameter ring portion 20. On both sides of the split portion 22, a seal portion 14 and a general portion 16 are provided, which is thick and has a pair of fasteners 26 arranged and which is thinner than the seal portion 14 but as thick as it and connected thereto in the peripheral direction, respectively. A thick portion 42 having almost the same mass as the seal portion 14 is arranged at a peripheral equally-divided position together with the seal portion 14. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
