PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rubber composition for keypads having high dynamic fatigue durability ( nailing durability ), and to provide keypads using the same. SOLUTION: The rubber composition for keypads comprises (A) an organopolysiloxane≥100 in polymerization degree having in the molecule at least two alkenyl groups bound to a silicon atom, (B) an ethylene-α-olefin-nonconjugated polyene random copolymer rubber, wherein the nonconjugated polyene is made from at least one terminal vinyl group-containing norbornene compound represented by formula(I)( wherein, (n) is an integer of 0 or 1-10; R<SP>1</SP>is H or a 1-10C alkyl; and R<SP>2</SP>is H or a 1-5C alkyl ) or formula(II) ( wherein, R<SP>3</SP>is H or a 1-10C alkyl ), (C) reinforcing silica≥50 m<SP>2</SP>/g in specific surface area and (D) a curing agent.
