PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an additive for ship's bottom coating used for preventing or reducing adhesion of shellfishes on ship's bottom and the ship's bottom coating containing the additive. SOLUTION: The additive for ship's bottom coating is composed of fly ash pulverized into average 1-12μm particle size and dried powder of beer yeast diatomaceous earth and contains the pulverized fly ash and the beer yeast diatomaceous earth powder in (7 to 3):1 weight ratio.
