(METH)ACRYLIC-MODIFIED POLYOLEFIN RESIN, ITS MANUFACTURING PROCESS AND COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a (meth)acrylic-modified polyolefin resin which gives a polyolefin substrate an excellent adhesivity and coatability and is highly miscible with polar resins, its manufacturing process and a composition containing the resin. SOLUTION: In the (meth)acrylic-modified polyolefin resin, the side chain of (B) a (meth)acrylic polymer having a basic or acidic group is bonded by an ionic bond with the main chain of (A) a polyolefin polymer having a basic or an acidic group by the reaction of the side chain with the basic or the acidic group of the main chain. The weight ratio of the polyolefin main chain to the (meth)acrylic polymer side chain (A)/(B) is in the range of 20/1-1/9.
