PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging box which reduces a trouble of housing an electric bulb. SOLUTION: The packaging box comprises a quadrilateral cylinder 11, which is formed to house the electric bulb, a bottom 20 formed at one end of the cylinder 11, and tongue pieces 31, which are formed at the other end of the cylinder 11 to be engaged with a mouth piece of the electric bulb. The tongue pieces 31 deform elastically to allow the electric bulb to be inserted into the cylinder 11 when the electric bulb is inserted from the end where the tongue pieces 31 are formed. When the electric bulb is inserted to reach a position where the mouth piece of the electric bulb corresponds to the engaging tongue pieces 31, the deformed tongue pieces 31 return to their original state to engage with the mouth piece of the electric bulb to prevent the electric bulb from dropping off from the cylinder 11.
