PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide switches capable of restricting a variation in close contacting force of an operating lever. SOLUTION: The switches have a driving mechanism 30 for linearly reciprocating an operating lever 20 coupled with a tongue rail and a chain lock mechanism 50 connected to the tongue rail and applied with a chain. A driving cam plate 25 of the driving mechanism 30 is provided with an operating lever chain lock surface 27. A conversion roller 48 of a conversion gear 40 is engaged with a driving cam groove 28 of a driving cam plate 25. The operating lever 20 is linearly reciprocated through rotation of the conversion gear 40. A cam surface of a lock piece driving cam plate 60 of the chain lock mechanism 50 has an engagement cam surface 63 for use in engaging a lock piece 70 with a chain lock lever recess 85 and a releasing cam surface 65 for use in releasing the lock piece 70 from the chain lock lever recess 85.
