PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relay terminal in which the deformation of an elastic contact member caused by prizing or the like at the time of insertion of a male terminal can be prevented, and furthermore stable contact pressure can be obtained between the terminals, thereby improving the contact stability of the terminals. SOLUTION: This relay terminal has front and rear walls 15, 18 facing each other and side walls 22, 22 on both sides, and in which male terminals are received in mutually reversed direction into a barrel-shaped male terminal receiving barrel 12 with both ends formed open, and male terminals on both sides are electrically connected. An elastic contact member 17 folded back in the male terminal receiving barrel 12 from the upper opening side of the wall 15 toward the lower opening side is provided at the front wall 15, and a movable contact member 19 which is opposed to the elastic contact member 17 and inclined along the insertion direction of the male terminal using spindles 19b, 19c supported rotatably by the side walls parts 22, 22 on both sides as a fulcrum is provided at the rear wall 18.
