PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-step switch mechanism enabled to be downsized and made thinner. SOLUTION: The two-step switch mechanism is so structured that an operation mold 50 having a pushing part 55 pushing a first switch 48a is arranged on a first switch base plate part 49a equipped with the first switch 48a, furthermore, a second switch base plate part 49b providing a second switch 48b is loaded on an upper surface of the operation mold 50, and a keytop 20 having a pushing part 25 pushing the second switch 48b is arranged on the second switch base plate part 49b. The operation mold 50 is stored in a storing part 23 provided on an underside of the keytop 20. And also, a guide mechanism guiding outer side walls 54 of the operation mold 50 is provided on inner side walls 24 of the storing part 23, so that the operation mold 50 is made to be guided in free vertical movement in the storing part 23.
