PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shock absorbing member capable of restraining displacement of an object by holding an object in normal use when no excessive external force is applied, and increasing a reaction force only when the excessive external force is applied to the object. SOLUTION: When a height of an end 11d of a supporting member 11 with the contact face 12a as the reference is designated as h1a and respective heights of an action member 14a and a base contact portion 14b with a contact face 12a as a reference are designated as h2a and h3a under a condition that an external force is not applied to an action portion 14a of a first plate spring 14, a relationship of h2a-h1a>h3a is satisfied.
