INSPECTION SYSTEM AND METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for effectively inspecting press-in connection by two-dimensional inspection equipment. SOLUTION: The system includes a logic for specifying the tip of a pin press-fit into a circuit board; a logic for measuring characteristics regarding the flat edge surface of the specified pin tip and a beveling surface; a logic for mutually comparing the measured characteristics with at least one of stored reference values; and a logic for finally determining whether or not the pin is appropriately mounted, based on the result of comparison executed by the logic for comparison.
