By pressing a certain button, or input of a first signal the system is placed in a mode in which a subscriber cannot take a call and a message should be left, and by pressing a certain button or input of a different signal, this mode is cancelled. The signal is derived from the snooze time entered in a CD player, radio receiver, television set, or video recorder. Independent claims are included for a control method for a computer, and for a hands-free telephone system.
