<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an infrared repeater and a remote controller for allowing a remote operation at any location when operating an electronic instrument by means of the remote controller by infrared signal in an interior of an automobile or the like. <P>SOLUTION: A device is installed at a location giving a sweeping view of the given interior and relays an infrared signal transmitted from the remote controller remote-controlling the electronic instrument used in the interior. The device comprises: an infrared signal reception section placed to receive the infrared signal from the remote controller operated at an indefinite location in the given interior and having an infrared light-receiving element; a signal demodulation section demodulating the infrared signal received by the infrared signal reception section; a signal processing section removing the noise of the infrared signal demodulated by the signal demodulation section for amplification; and an infrared signal transmission section transmitting the infrared signal processed by the signal processing section to the given electronic instrument. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
