<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a polarizing plate that has uniform polarization characteristics and is excellent in durability. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the polarizing plate having a transparent protective film provided at least on one side of a polarizer via an adhesive layer is characterized that the adhesive layer is formed on a surface of the transparent protective film for forming the adhesive layer or/and a surface of the polarizer for forming the adhesive layer by applying adhesive, and after that, when the transparent protective films and the polarizer are pasted continuously via the thus-formed adhesive layer, aqueous liquid is presented on the pasting surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
