<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a product design support apparatus, a product design support method and a computer program for supporting the design of products. <P>SOLUTION: A product design support apparatus is provided with: a trouble information storing part in which the contents of troubles and the relevance ratio of each of parts to the troubles are stored so as to be made to correspond to parts identification information to identify parts used for real products in which a trouble is caused; a design parts information storing part in which when new products are newly designed, the list of the parts identification information of parts used for the new products is prepared, and stored so as to be made to correspond to product identification information to identify the new products; a trouble occurrence frequency calculating part which reads the relevance ratio of the parts used for the new products from the trouble information storing part based on the parts identification information stored in the design parts information storing part, and calculates a higher trouble occurrence frequency for the new products according as the relevance ratio is larger; and a trouble occurrence frequency display part which displays the trouble occurrence frequency calculated for the new products while making it correspond to the contents of the trouble. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
