PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin sheet molding machine capable of uniformly controlling the temperature of a resin sheet, and a resin sheet molding method using it. SOLUTION: In the resin sheet molding machine equipped with at least a plurality of heaters 12 and molds 8A and 8B and constituted so as to heat and soften the resin sheet 5 by the heaters 12 to compression-mold the same by the molds 8A and 8B, a heat shielding plate 13 is provided between the heaters 12. This resin sheet molding machine is constituted so that the resin sheet 5 is fixed by a tool 6 and the heaters 12, between which the heat shielding plate 13 is provided, are arranged above the resin sheet 15 to heat the resin sheet 5 for a predetermined time before compression-molding the resin sheet 5 from above and below by the molds 8A and 8B.
