PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum blank material having excellent press-formability. SOLUTION: In the aluminum blank material unified with a butt-joining of two platy aluminum basic materials 12, 14 different in plate thicknesses, in the case of using t1 for plate thickness andσ1 for tensile strength of either one of the platy basic material 12(14) in two platy aluminum basic materials and t2 for plate thickness andσ2 for tensile strength of the other one 14(12) therein, the ratio: R=(t1×σ1)/(t2×σ2) of the product: t1×σ1 of the plate thickness and the tensile strength in the one side of the platy basic material 12(14) to the product: t2×σ2 of the plate thickness and the tensile strength in the other side of the platy basic material 14(12), is constituted so as to become the value in the range of 0.8-1.25.
