PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curvilinear excavator which is so versatile as to be available for embedding curved pipes of different curvatures. SOLUTION: The curvilinear excavator is formed of a head portion 1 arranged on a distal end of a leading curved pipe A, for excavating the natural ground, and a main body 2 extending along an inner peripheral surface A1 of the leading curved pipe A axially curved at a predetermined curvature, and held by the inner peripheral surface A1. The main body 2 is formed of a plurality of outer shells 3 which are each formed like a straight pipe so as to constitute an outer peripheral surface of the main body 2, and curvature adjusting members 4 which are each detachably attached to an axial edge of the outer shell 3, and connects the outer shells 3 together so as to extend along the inner peripheral surface A1 which is curved at the predetermined curvature.
