PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein a non-target object is misidentified as a target object, when the reflectivity of the target object is low and reflectivity of the non-target object is high in the conventional image extraction device which extracts an image area, in which differential values of images acquired at the lighting and non-lighting exceed a reference value as an image area for the target object. SOLUTION: The image extraction device extracts an image for the target object at a desired distance from images for a plurality of objects at different distances and is provided with a first image acquisition means for acquiring a first image under illumination by an illumination light with first light volume under predetermined exposure conditions; a second image acquisition means for acquiring a second image under illumination by illumination light with a second light volume larger than the first light volume under the predetermined exposure conditions; and a division means for calculating the ratio between the first and second images and an extraction means for extracting the image area extracted from the first image or the second image as the image for the target object, based on the ratio.
