PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a halogenoxime derivative without using diethyl ether as a solvent and without discharging a heavy metal as a waste by a reduction method using an inexpensive and easily available reducing agent, and facilitating the temperature control of the reaction. SOLUTION: The method for producing the halogenoxime derivative represented by general formula (2) (wherein, X is independently a halogen atom) involves reacting a nitromethane derivative represented by general formula (1) (wherein, X is the same as the above) with an inorganic acid in the presence of iron.
