PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horseshoe lock for a bicycle in which a bar piece is not interfered to a spoke of a wheel. SOLUTION: In the horseshoe lock for the bicycle, a casing 21 of the horseshoe lock 2 is mounted to the bicycle through a support member 4 and the casing 21 and the support member 4 are turnably supported at an upper part of the casing 21 by a rotation shaft 5. Respective end surfaces 21a, 21b of the casing 21 are positioned below the rotation shaft 5. At a lower part of the casing 21, the casing 21 is turnably supported within a predetermined range in a longitudinal direction through an elastic body 23 making the rotation shaft 5 as a center. Thereby, even if the bar piece 22 collides to the spoke of the wheel at locking, a lower part of the horseshoe lock 2 is forwardly or rearwardly moved. Thereby, it can avoid the spoke.
