The screen display (15) has at least one operating lever with a rotary operating wheel on its end for controlling a screen marking and at least one display screen, whereby the display can be controlled using the operating lever and the operating wheel. The operating wheel is arranged in an opening in the end of the operating lever and a segment of the operating wheel protrudes out of the opening at the end of the operating lever. An independent claim is also included for a method of controlling a display screen.
