<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a travel path investigation method capable of precisely investigating a travel path of an unspecified person, while avoiding increase in processing burden of a core network system and increase in power consumption of a subscriber terminal. <P>SOLUTION: In the travel path investigation method for investigating a travel path of a subscriber who subscribes to a mobile communications network system, a radio control system for supervising a cell including an initiation region receives instructions to search a subscriber who stays at the initiation region via an operator terminal, along with information identifying the initiation region. Then, the radio control system broadcasts a broadcast information on appeal for cooperation in path investigation towards the cell including the initiation region. In response to an origination request returned from a subscriber terminal as a reply to the broadcast information, the radio control system specifies an appropriate period and instructs location measurement to the calling subscriber terminal. In response to the measurement instruction, the subscriber terminal measures its own position periodically over the specified period, and accumulates the obtained measurements result.
