摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber probe capable of enhancing a light transmittance, using a potential difference generated between metal layers coated on the optical fiber probe. <P>SOLUTION: This optical fiber probe is formed of a core for wave-guiding light incident from an outside, a near-field probe formed in one end side of an optical fiber comprising a clad coated in its periphery to protect the core, and the plurality of metal thin film layers coated symmetrically with a space in both sides on the near-field probe to generate the potential difference for transmitting the light into the optical fiber probe. In this manner, a signal-to-noise ratio of the optical fiber probe is improved and times required for regeneration and recording are shortened, by generating the potential difference between the conductive substances coated with the space on the optical fiber probe to increase a light transmission amount. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
