<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film with strength in which the molecules of a collagen of the water soluble collagen extracted as a polymer state in a high concentration from fish scales form a fiber form as keeping a polymer state even at an ordinary temperature. <P>SOLUTION: A water-soluble collagen being extracted so far from fish scales in such a method that a collagen substance is obtained by the hydrolysis of or enzymatically decomposition of the decalcification-treated scales, but the collagen obtained by this method is a collagen which has been depolymerized to the peptide form and which, being vaporized for water content and dried, makes a pellet-form and no film having strength. However, the collagen that is extracted for a short time after added with water to the scales which are roughly pulverized or are decalcification-treated and then roughly pulverized, keeps the molecule in a fiber-form and consequently can provide a film having strength. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
