摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soybean capable of being easily processed into a food which contains free amino acids and having a high content of total free amino acids in its grains, and to provide a method for breeding the same. <P>SOLUTION: This soybean having a higher content of the total free amino acids in the grains than those of soybeans of generally cultivated species is provided by providing a soybean from which all subunits of &beta;-conglycinin and glycinin are hereditarily deleted or a soybean which only has A<SB>3</SB>B<SB>4</SB>comprising one of the glycinin subunits among the subunits of the &beta;-conglycinin and the glycinin. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
