<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas generator composition which has a low combustion temperature and generates small amounts of carbon monoxide, ammonia, and nitrogen oxides. <P>SOLUTION: The gas generator composition contains (a) an organic compound as fuel, (b) an oxygen-containing oxidant, (c) magnesium hydroxide or its mixture with aluminum hydroxide and, if necessary, components chosen from (d) a binder, (e) an additive chosen from metal oxides and metal carbonates and (f) silicon dioxide having a specific surface area of 100-500 m<SP>2</SP>/g. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
