<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a beginner to easily transmit intended query contents to an answer server and to acquire a proper answer from an answer server in an answer system for answering to a query from a user via a network. <P>SOLUTION: A user terminals 2-n transmits a text form query sentence input by the user to the answer server 1a. The answer server 1a extracts a keyword from the query sentence and searches an answer database DB storing the keyword and an answer in association with each other. If there is a relevant answer, it is returned to the user terminals 2-n. If there is no relevant answer, a field for the query sentence is specified on the basis of the keyword. Subsequently, an answerer is selected from an answerer selection DB for storing the field and the answerer in association with each other, and the query sentence is transmitted to an answerer terminal 4-m of the selected answerer.
