<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost oil adsorbent which can quickly adsorb oil by simple constitution, and reduce industrial waste. <P>SOLUTION: The oil adsorbent consists of short fibers 22, granular buoyant member 14, and precipitation member 16. Waste and used goods of textile goods, such as non-slip gloves 10, waste and used goods of styrene foam etc. as the buoyant member 14, waste and used goods of plastics etc. as the precipitation member 16 are crushed at the same time, thereby producing a mixture of an aggregate of the short fibers 22, granules 24 of the buoyant member, and granules 26 of the precipitation member. When the non-slip gloves 10 are used, their anti-slip parts 12 can be used as the buoyant member or the precipitation member.
