<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal processing system, etc. capable of appropriately and effectively performing edge emphasis processing. <P>SOLUTION: The signal processing system is provided with an estimation part 5 which estimates noise amount or a photographic scene as feature values from a video signal imaged by a CCD 2 and digitized by a preprocessing part 3, an edge extraction part 6 which extracts an edge component of an image concerning the video signal, a correction coefficient calculation part 7 which calculates a correction coefficient for correcting the edge component based on the feature values and the edge component and an edge emphasis part 8 which performs the edge emphasis processing to the video signal based on the edge component and the correction coefficient. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
