PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forming method of a positioning hole on a metal panel, which can form the positioning holes precisely and can reduce an equipment cost and a manufacturing cost, and a structure of a positioning hole part. SOLUTION: The forming process of the metal panel 1 includes: a forming step S1 for forming a positioning hole forming part 10 comprising an upper surface 11 with a plurality of radially extended portions 11A-11D and side surfaces 13-20 connected with a reference face 2 via vertical areas 13A-20A perpendicular to the upper surface 11 and connected with each extended portion 11A-11D along its side edges; and a hole piercing step S2 for opening a positioning hole 30 with a diameter d, which is to be fitted with a reference pin 40 and includes each extended portion 11A-11D and vertical area 13A-20A with its center to an axis perpendicular to the reference face 2 taking the pre-determined positioning reference position O on the metal panel 1 as a reference point.
