PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection screen which is usable even under a bright environment and has high lightness. SOLUTION: The projection screen has a base material and a layer to be projected which has a selective reflection function for selectively reflecting the light of a specific component and a diffusion reflection function for diffusing and reflecting the light of the specific polarization component. The layer to be projected has at least two selective reflection layers having the selective reflection function. A plurality of the selective reflection layers have reflection wavelength regions varying from each other and are arranged successively from the base material side in order that the reflection wavelength region shifts from the shorter wavelength side to the longer wavelength side.
