PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent air from incorporating into an oil by a relief oil discharged from a pressure regulating mechanism, reduce the size of an engine unit case by a simple structure, and suppress production cost in the engine unit case. SOLUTION: This engine unit case 20 is installed in the cylinder block of an engine 1. The oil pump 10 and the pressure regulating mechanism 50 regulating the discharge pressure of the oil discharged from an oil pump 10 are installed in the engine unit case 20. The pump chamber 13 of the oil pump 10 and the body 54 of the pressure regulating mechanism 50 are formed integrally with the engine unit case 20. The relief hole 56 of the pressure regulating mechanism 50 is allowed to communicate directly with the suction port 15 of the oil pump 10 through a lead-out passage (relief passage) 21.
