PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a link from being seen, even if three interlocking sliding doors are glass doors. SOLUTION: This mechanism is used for allowing a plurality of sliding doors 2, provided in an opening 1X, to make interlocking motions between an opened position (A) wherein all the sliding doors 2 almost overlap one another, and a closed position (B) wherein side ends of the mutually adjacent sliding doors 2 overlap each other so that the opening 1X can be closed. The mechanism is equipped with a link member 30 which is equipped with a link body 31 made almost horizontal in the closed position (B), and a link supporting piece 32 almost raised on the side of one end of the link body 31. The other end of the link body 31 is turnably supported on the prescribed sliding door 2, and the link supporting piece 32 is slidably engaged along a side edge on the backside of the other sliding door 2, so that the sliding doors 2 makes the interlocking motions by using the link member 30.
