PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for thermally joining laser optical crystals by which the performance of the laser crystal can be derived at the maximum. SOLUTION: The thermal joining method comprises thermally joining laser optical crystals by combining moisture removal and heat treatment at the joining face of the crystals.
