PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screw type filtering/hydrating device constituted so as to decrease load to a motor by reducing sliding frictional resistance which is generated between sliding contact surfaces with an annular filtering plate without lowering the mechanism of the annular movable plate. SOLUTION: In the screw type filtering/dehydrating device in which the annular movable plates 8 which are eccentrically revolved with the rotation of a screw conveyer are loosely fit between laminates of the annular filtering plates 2 and each narrow gap formed between each annular filtering plate 2 and an annular movable plate 8 is taken as a filtered water flowing-out groove, the front faces and back faces of the plate surfaces of the annular movable plate 8 are formed into wavy projecting and uneven surfaces 8a, 8b and only the projecting surfaces 8b are brought into sliding contact with the annular filtering plate 2.
